Humans

What it's like to really be human is to touch, to be able to feel something so soft your heart melts. To see, to be able to see what this world has to offer, to see the ocean for the first time. To listen. To be able to hear the words I love you. To smell, to smell grandma's cookie's baking in the oven makes my mouth water, and to TASTE, to have taste buds to tell us what we like and what we don't. Your first kiss. Some people aren't blessed with every sense, so why do we even care that we have them? All you really need is a heart, so you can love, you can feel emotion. Emotion is so strong, why do we need to hear that we are loved, can't we just feel it? A brain so you can picture what the world is like, who needs eyes, and touch, when you can just picture the ocean being a little piece of heaven on earth? Why do we need to taste, when we are starving we'll eat anything to keep us going. Smell. Why do we need to smell. With out our nose, we don't have to worry about colds, or judging someone because they couldn't take a shower the night before. Who cares about smell? As long as we can breathe in the fresh air that keeps our heart going and our brain functioning, who cares about our senses? I guess senses just give us an ordinary direction of things, but our heart minds and body really show us what it's like to be human.
